Mostra Carnaval of Chios - Hotel Accommodation

We meet at Çeşme Ulusoy Port at 08:30 in the morning. After the ticket and passport checks, we move to the island with our Quick Catamaran, which will move at 09:30. Our journey takes only 20 minutes. When we first arrived on the island with a catamaran, we would go down to the empty customs and DO NOT WAIT the line :) Our guide in customs will meet you. Following the customs clearance, your transfer will be made to your hotel.
If you wish, you can join our tour to the South Island or North Island (including Lagada).
Our South Island tour program is as follows; (Start at 10:30 local time)
The island tour program of 3 villages (Armolia - Pirgi - Mesta), which is under the protection of ım Unesco Pir of Chios island, is as follows.
Mastichoria (Gum trees)
Armolia (ceramic village), Pirgi (a medieval village famous for its geometric patterned houses), Mesta (an ancient labyrinth village from the Genoese), Limenas (Fishing village) will take a break to eat. After your meal, transfer to the hotel will be carried out.

Our staff will specify the hour after the meeting in the lobby will be transferred to the tavern. (20:30 local time)
The most famous tavern of the island, APOMERO TAVERNA, will be at your disposal all night with the "CHIOS TRIO Group" ... Includes a seafood menu and unlimited drinks.

Check out your hotel after breakfast to complete your check-out process, 10:30 (local time) to meet with our guide in the lobby, we start our carnival tour.
First of all our buses are accompanied by our guide,

We will move to the village of Thymiana where the carnival will take place.
Thymiana is famous for its red decoration stone and it is one of the big and beautiful villages of Chios. The center of Agios Efstritos Church is one of the centers of the carnival.

The carnival history of Mostra dates back to centuries, from the Middle Ages to the times when the pirates roamed the Aegean. A village close to the city, on a Sunday, when the Thymiana people had fun, the pirates attacked the island. The people who learned that the pirates were coming from, were fed up with the pirate attacks they were frequently subjected to, and by the enthusiasm of fun, they gathered the courage to fight the pirates and struggled with them. This time, the villagers defeated the pirates, with the excitement of being the winner of the war, this meaningful day, which represents unity and solidarity, has begun to be celebrated in order to keep in mind every year.

Mostra Day; The island people and especially Thymiana people are celebrated in a local festive atmosphere with various treats as a fun fairground in which all kinds of costumes and masks are used. Folk dances, especially the struggle of the pirates and the people of the island, are among the most entertaining parts of the carnival.
This carnival, which is made more fun by the people of Chios, will be watched at this village square. Our guide will specify the time of the meeting (15:00 local time) while the bus return to the port of Chios.

Return to the harbor of Cesme after a pleasant journey which will only take 20 minutes with our fast catamaran.
